Handmade Bar Mitzvah Card

Today I went to our local Scrapbook Store with my friend Sandra. I was very excited to find this DSP for the Jewish faith. My son is going to a Bar Mitzvah and I wanted to make the card. So when I found this paper I was so very excited! I also purchased a set of three Star of David dies from Cheery Lynn Designs there. Previously I found nesting Star of David dies by Nellie Snellen. It is called
Nellies Multi Frame Die MFD061 "Straight star" online.

{I haven't added the verse on the inside yet}

I am going to try to take better pictures in the morning when there is better light. For right now, let me tell you about it. The finished size measures 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" when you open it, there is a 1 1/2" fold over on the inside right panel. I wanted the card to be a money holder card.  The card and the Star of Davids are cut from a shiny navy blue card stock. On the inside I used Stampin' Up! Brocade Blue and the designer paper is by Moxxie called Mazel Tov. I used only one sheet of designer paper because it is two sided and I liked both sides. The center Star of David is made from a die cut of the Nellie set and the die of the Cheery Lynn was glued to the top. It looks embossed but it is really two glued together. I also used a lot of pop dots under the DSP and the center Star of David.

These are the supplies that I used. As I said, the two papers are the same just flipped over. I hope that you like my card!
