Hello there! I would like to share this retro friend card with you today! This month's Hedgehog Hollow subscription box has so many fun products to create with.
I was not able to get a great photo of the shimmer on the finished card, but the spots in the background are all Yellowstone kaleidoscope powder. So shiny!!! To start my card, I ink blended Pop Art color hive ink and Yellowstone color hive ink through the stencil.
Next, I stamped one of the images from the Atomic Age stamp set using Fog color hive ink randomly around the stenciled panel. Then, I blended Pop Art and Yellowstone around the edges of the panel.
Next, I mixed the Yellowstone kaleidoscope powder with a little water and sprayed it over the panel. I dried it with my heat gun and sprayed it lightly with hairspray to set the powder.
I stamped the Hello friend image from the Mid Century set three times on a piece of Ultra white cardstock. I fussy cut out one full image and two "hello" sentiments from he image. I colored them with Copics and gently sprayed them with my Yellowstone Kaleidoscope powder/water mixture. Once it dried, I lightly sprayed them with hairspray. Then, I began assembling my card. I attached my stenciled panel to a card base of Welch Dragon cardstock using foam tape. Then, I attached the two "hello" sentiments and the "hello friend" image using foam squares. To finish the card, I added a few Solar Flair Crown Jewel Gems.
