WOW That's Late!

My Son's 10th Birthday was in September and I was not able to make his card. I really wanted to make it special. He just started Pop Warner Tackle Football this year and I wanted the card to have something to do with his season since he loved it so much. He has been asking me, after every new card that I have done,  if I made his card yet? "Have you even started it yet Mom???" So I am very happy to say that even though it is practically 2 months late, his card has been completed. I really hope he likes it and that he feels it was worth the wait. I will be giving it to him today! YEAHY!!!

This card is the Swing (flip flop) technique. Instructions are found here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/swing_flip_flop_card/

Peaceful Wishes

I was in a Christmas mood today. This is what I came up with. I really love the Peaceful Wishes set  by Stampin' up! The paper is Close to my Heart and the buttons are basic grey. I also used Snow globe by stampin' up! You cannot see it in the picture, but the icicles are popped out and the base of the snow globe is also popped out. Hope that you like it!

These are a couple more projects from the craft fair this past weekend. I made Angel Kisses and Dog Treats. I really love this version of the Angel Kisses poem. The angel is from a Close to my Heart set. The dog on the dog treats is just too cute too. He is from Stampendous.

Craft fair projects

My friend Nicholetta and I are taking part in a craft fair this weekend. It is my first craft fair so I am nervous and excited all wrapped in one. She makes very pretty jewelry and I am sharing the table with her. I have been making many giftables lately for it. This is a sampe of my reindeer food and my snowman soup. I will be posting other pictures as the week goes on. Hope you like them!

Fall Diamondz

This weekend, my friend Christine and I went to the Ranger warehouse sale. I found this chunky glitter called Diamondz by Suze Weinberg. I am sure this stuff has been out for ever, but I never saw it before. As I was holding it, this card instantly came to mind. I like the way it turned out. Just wish I could take better pictures of my cards!  I love all of the colors of Fall and this saying is such a perfect fit!

This card was a real fun card to make. Both cards followed the splitcoast stampers SC300 challenge. The digi stamp that I used for this one is from Studio 313 designs. It is called Fabulous & Feathered Lou Lou. I love this image! Very fun to color.

Missing You

This card is my latest. I have been really bummin’ because my kids are back in school, my husband left for a BSNS trip and I feel like the summer flew by way too quickly. I decided to use creativity to try to get out of my emotional gloom.

I have really been in love with the Stamping Bella Stamps lately. I used Splitcoast Stampers SC297 challenge to get started. I made the 'Missing You' background in WORD. {I don't know why it took me 11 years to think of doing that. } I have done it with sentiments...especially when I like the verse, but not the font. I also used Little Yellow Bicycle and Stampin’ Up Card stock/DP. The stamp is Stamping Bella's APTEE-tude.

I have not posted in a LONG while, but I am going to try to get caught up over the fall. Enjoy!
