Three for Unity!

Today is a big one! I made two cards and a canvas panel. I was pretty busy today but managed to fit in the time to play with my stamps. It was very therapeutic!

This first project is a canvas panel using Unity stamp Company Cuddlebug Sea Horse and distress oxide inks. I added a Mica Spray to the sea horses to add some shine. I LOVE this set!

These are my supplies:

The second project was this card using Unity Stamp Company's 'Who you really are' Stamp set and Distress Oxides. I smooshes the oxides on my mat with glossy cardstock. I really like the color combo!

These are the supplies that I used for this card:

My final card today is using a sentiment from 'Delight in Beauty' also by Unity Stamp Company. I love butterflies and this sentiment is truly inspirational for many of us as we change throughout our lives!!!

These are the supplies for this card:

So that is it! My creations to share with you! Hope I was able inspire someone!

Easter Shaker made by my daughter!

My daughter was in a crafting mood Saturday and I was excited when she said that she wanted to make a card. She is very creative and I wish she would make cards more often. I love how her card turned out!

She used Amuse Studio Sweet Easter stamps and Taylored expressions Sun Stencil. The sentiment "Happy Easter" was also from Taylored expressions

CAS Fun Friday Challenge Coffee and Unicorns!

So I am still trying to catch up with the cards that I have made over the past few days. I made these two cards for the Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge #112 Clean and Simple .

The first card actually smells like coffee. I do not have a coffee background stamp so I used a cup and some cold coffee to make the rings. I also used Your Next Stamp's Ellie loves lattes set and my Prima watercolors to color her in. My daughter started working at Starbuck's coffee so I tried to make the cup resemble Starbuck's even though I am a die hard Dunkin' drinker!

And this is my coffee mess...

Unicorn Kindness:

I used Winter Unicorns Rock from Your Next Stamp and Heartfelt Sentiments to make this card.

These are the supplies. I forgot to add the Oxides to the picture for the stencil.

Hope you like them!

Playing Catch up! Easter Blessings

This is the card that I made for my Mother-in-Law for Easter. I have the Tailored Expressions Die "Stained Glass Cross" but I wanted to stencil it, so I used the die to cut out acetate for a stencil. I really like how it turned out!

This is how it looked in progress...

And this is What I used to make this card....

Missing from the picture is the gold embossing powder and the shaker pieces.....I hope you like it!

Sick Day Inky Paws Challenge #95

I have some catching up to do! I have made a few cards to enter into challenges and put them on instagram so here is one of them...My second entry into Newton's Nook Inky Paws challenge #95
And I am super excited that this card was one of the inky paws challenge favorites! YAY!

I used Newton's Nook Sick Day stamp set for this card and Copic Markers. I used the horizontal part of the sketch as an opportunity to make it look like a bandaid. I used a dot embossing folder and flipped it over to resemble the holes in a bandaid.

These are the Copics I used to color the background:

We can weather any storm MFT Sketch Challenge #432

I had a chance to use this super cute stamp set, Rain or Shine, today from MFT! I LOVE sunny days so I don't know why but I always love any stamp that has rain coats, rain boots and umbrellas. I made this card so I could play along with the MFT Sketch challenge this week.

I am at my mom's helping out while she recovers. I had limited supplies to work with because I only brought a few stamp/die sets, stencils and a die cutter with me. Fortunately I had a stash here that I forgot about!!! When I had started collecting my Copic Markers, I didn't document well which led to doubles (30 to be exact) YIKES! So I kept them here in the closet with a cutter, cardstock, ink and adhesive. It was like Christmas all over again!

So here is my Card! I hope you like it.

These are the supplies that I used:

Copics: BG05, 09,10
E0000, 00, 99
YR21
Y19,38
RV10
W0
T7
B97

MFT Rain or shine stamps and dies

Hello Flowers!!!!

I had a chance to make two cards today! This is my second and I had a lot of fun watercoloring with distress ink. I made this for the Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge #111 Florals. It was fun to take this Christmas stamp set and use it for a spring card. My top flowers are supposed to resemble Wisteria. I didn't want the fox to have a scarf on so I tried to make it look like a dog collar with a dog tag hanging from it....I don't know who would put a dog collar on a fox but I guess I just did :-)

I used the Your Next Stamp Deck the Halls Stamp and Die set, watercolor paper, Aqua Brush and the following distressed inks: Peeled Paint, Bundled Sage, Dusty Concord, Mustard Seed, Black Soot, Rusty Hinge, Iced Spruce, Walnut Stain, Wild Honey, Victorian Velvet, Peacock Feathers, Scattered Straw, and Barn Door. I hope you like it!

Thinking of you...Inky Paws Sketch Challenge #95

I made this 'thinking of you' card for the Newton's Nook Inky Paws sketch challenge for this week. I have been helping my mom out while she is recovering from a knee replacement so my supplies are very limited at her house. I was actually quite surprised that the supplies I had would work with this stamp set! I had to color white CTMH sassy strands with a Copic marker because I didn't have twine and I was thrilled that my ink pads were still juicy! I only brought a handful of stamps with me and fortunately Newton's Nook Whispering Pines Stamp set was one of them so I could participate in the challenge! Here is what I came up with...

This is a picture of the supplies I used to make my card. I also used My Favorite Things Fishtail Stax that are not in the photo.
