Sick Day Inky Paws Challenge #95

I have some catching up to do! I have made a few cards to enter into challenges and put them on instagram so here is one of them...My second entry into Newton's Nook Inky Paws challenge #95
And I am super excited that this card was one of the inky paws challenge favorites! YAY!

I used Newton's Nook Sick Day stamp set for this card and Copic Markers. I used the horizontal part of the sketch as an opportunity to make it look like a bandaid. I used a dot embossing folder and flipped it over to resemble the holes in a bandaid.

These are the Copics I used to color the background:

We can weather any storm MFT Sketch Challenge #432

I had a chance to use this super cute stamp set, Rain or Shine, today from MFT! I LOVE sunny days so I don't know why but I always love any stamp that has rain coats, rain boots and umbrellas. I made this card so I could play along with the MFT Sketch challenge this week.

I am at my mom's helping out while she recovers. I had limited supplies to work with because I only brought a few stamp/die sets, stencils and a die cutter with me. Fortunately I had a stash here that I forgot about!!! When I had started collecting my Copic Markers, I didn't document well which led to doubles (30 to be exact) YIKES! So I kept them here in the closet with a cutter, cardstock, ink and adhesive. It was like Christmas all over again!

So here is my Card! I hope you like it.

These are the supplies that I used:

Monster-ous Birthday wishes! YNS challenge #110

Wow! It has been some time since I have posted a card! It is spring break for me and I thought I would try out today's Your Next Stamp Challenge to break up the dreary rainy day. The challenge is to use pastel colors and that was a little difficult because I wanted to use a set from Your Next Stamp but I only had Monsters and a Valentine set on hand. If I win...maybe I could get a spring or Easter stamp set!

I decided to make a shaker card and I knew I had some pink googly eyes I wanted to add to it. This is what I came up with...

I used YNS sets Silly monsters and Silly Monsters two with coordinating dies. The balloon shaker was cut using Studio Katia Dotted Balloons Die and I used Lawn fawn Lawn Cuts Grassy Cupcake wrapper Die. I used Hero Arts Infinity Circles to cut the foam sheet and the cloud cardstock behind the balloon.
(I noticed that I forget to color the tongue in my other two pictures Duh!)

I used Hero Arts Gelato Confetti shaker dots but you cannot see them because they are at the bottom of the balloon...

These little guys were a lot of fun to color. Below I have a picture of my supplies and the copies that I used are shown.
And here are my supplies!

Copics:

G40, G43
BG0000, BG10, BG11, BG15

Beware of the Siren!

I have a quick post today. I made this card for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Mythology/Inspired by a Story Challenge. My card inspiration is the mythical Sirens that would lure the Sailors in with their beautiful voices. The pentalogy of Percy Jackson is what made me think of the sirens. I had this digital stamp "Princess of the Sea" by aurora Wings (on Etsy) for a while. I was so excited to have a reason to print it out and color it in.

I couldn't find a way to incorporate the sailor into the card then remembered I had these sailboat and anchor charms.

I did an ink resist by clear embossing the music background. I blended my distress ink over it and then removed the embossing powder with an iron and paper towel. I hope you like it! I will edit my post later to add my supplies.

Missed the Boat

I just found out that I was REALLY late on my Nephew-in-Law's birthday. YIKES!!!! So I sat down and broke out some of my new stamps that I have had sitting on my desk for a month! I have been dying to use them, so I was really happy when I realized that I MUST make a card.

The supplies that I used are Simple Stories "Awesome"  line, Papertrey ink label 5 mat stack dies. Fiskars cloud punches and wave punch, and The Cat's Pajamas Aye, Aye Captain Stamp.
