Clover Bunny- Day 3 of TRHD release and hop!

Welcome to day 3 of The Rabbit Hole Designs March Release/Blog Hop! Be sure to hope along all of the links listed below to see more inspiration and have a chance to win! Today I am sharing a card featuring "Clover Bunny" by our new artist Tatsiana. I also used the Corner Mandala to add some color around the corners.

To make my card, I cut a piece of watercolor paper to 5 1/2" x 4 1/2", I stamped the "Clover Bunny" in the center of the paper. I stamped the image on a piece of post it not (for a mask) and fussy cut it out. I placed the mask over the bunny and put a post it note below where I wanted to show the sky line. Then gently blended tumbled glass distress ink over the mask. I removed the full post it (leaving the bunny mask on the card) and put a new post it above where I wanted to show a grass line. Then gently blended it with mowed grass distress oxide. I removed all of the masks and watercolored the bunny with distress oxide inks. I used Pumice Stone for the bunny, Mowed Grass for the clover, and Spun Sugar for his ears.

After it dried, I placed the corner mandala stencil in the top corner of the card and blended tumbled glass distress oxide over it then repeated that on the other top corner. I rinsed the stencil and repeated that step using Mowed grass distress oxide over the bottom two corners. Then I die cut it using a die from my stash making sure it was centered. I glued the excess from the die cut to the card base, added foam to the center cut out and popped it up on the middle of the card base.

Next I stamped the sentiment on black paper, embossed it in white and cut it out in strips. Then adhered it to the card. I added a little enamel heart and called it a day! I just adore this little bunny! Thank you for checking out my post, Your next stop is Lauren! See below....

TRHD March Release and Blog hop!!

Good Morning Crafty Friends!!How exciting is this new release? I am so excited to share with you a card featuring The Rabbit Hole Designs newest artist, Tatsiana! Make sure you hop along to all of the Design Team Blogs for more information and chances to win!

Come Fly with me is part of Day 2 of  The Rabbit Hole Designs March Release. Isn't it adorable????? I couldn't decide if I wanted to use pencils, markers or watercolors on this card so...I used them all!

I started out by cutting a piece of the blue dot patterned paper from the Spring floral #1 paper pack to 6"x3 1/4". I die cut a couple of pieces of the green plaid paper from that pack with a grass die from my stash. Then I took some watercolor paper and stamped it all over with the bow background stamp from Come Fly with me in embossing ink. I embossed it with white embossing powder and watercolored it with pink and purple watercolors. Then I die cut that with a cloud border die I have in my stash. I began to assemble that on my slimline card base. Then I stamped the bunny in the balloon on white cardstock. I colored the bunny  using my Prisma pencils and Gamsol. I used PC1019, PC1050, PC1018, Warm Grey 30%, and Warm grey 20% colored pencils. Then I colored the basket and flowers with my copics:

Flowers:V25, V20, V05, V01, Y17
Leaves: G12, G14
Sky behind the flowers: BG000
Basket: E81, E84
Bow: V000, V01

I die cut the image and fussy cut the inside by the stems of the flowers. I decided I wanted a closer cut so I ended up fussy cutting the outside of the image too. Then I popped that up on foam tape, stamped the sentiment on a cloud I die cut from my stash and glued it to the card. I hope you like it! I just love these beautiful images from Tatsiana and the paper packs match perfectly with the new release!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you stop by tomorrow to see even more inspiration! Leave a comment telling me what your favorite set of the new release is so far!

TRHD Corner Mandala with Caffeinated Rhino!

Hello crafty friends! Today's post features a couple of my favorites from The Rabbit Hole Designs! My card pairs the recently released Corner Mandala and an older favorite of mine, Caffeinated Rhino. I just love how well they go together!

I started making the background by lightly blending Speckled Egg and Pumice Stone Distress Oxides on watercolor paper. Then I put the stencil on the blended cardstock and blended Distress Glaze over some areas of the stencil (this is a resist glaze so ink will not stick to it).

After I blended the distress glaze, I sprayed over the stencil with Pumice Stone Distress Spray. I dabbed off the excess ink before taking off the stencil to prevent too much leaking under the stencil. Then I stamped my Caffeinated Rhino on a smaller piece of watercolor paper with Ranger Archival ink. I used my distress inks to watercolor in my Rhino and the bird. Then I die cut them using the Caffeinated Rhino die. I also die cut a "shadow" for the rhino with grey cardstock just to add a little bit of color behind him. I used the sentiment from the stamp set by embossing it with white embossing powder on black cardstock. Once I had all of my pieces as you see here:

... I began to build my card. I cut down the Background to 5 1/4" x 4" and added that to a piece of grey cardstock. Then I glued my rhino slightly staggered off the grey rhino "shadow" and added foam tape behind him to pop him up. I glued the little bird to the tip of his horn and added a tiny piece of foam tape behind it as well. I attached the sentiment to the bottom of the card and used that as a ground for the Rhino to "stand" on so he didn't look like he was floating in air. Finally, I attached this to a white card base. I just love the soft colors!

Thank you for stopping by!

Enjoy Simple Pleasures with TRHD!

Hello crafty friends! I would love to share this card I made featuring the Simple Things stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs  February release and the Corner Mandala Stencil. I just adore this Dapper Fella!

I cut out my first panel 4"x 5 1/4 from white cardstock. I took the
Corner Mandala stencil and centered it at the top of the panel (I love that
you can use it for more than just the corner).

I used my Cotton Tail blending brush to blend Bundled Sage
Distress Oxide over the center of the stencil. I blended darker in the center
to lighter toward the edges. From my stash, I added a black die cut
word "Enjoy".

Next I stamped This little guy from Simple Things and colored him in with
Copics {adding a little plaid design to his vest}.

Copics:
Cat: E41, E42, E43, R30
Vest E84, E87
Shirt: E81
Pants: E87, E89
Hat: E81, E84, E87
Bow Tie & Umbrella: R35, R39
Shoes: N1, N2, N5, N8
Cup: E40, E41, N2, N5, N8

I fussy cut him out and popped him up on foam tape. I stamped
"#Simple Pleasures" from the set, popped it up with foam tape. Then I
scattered a few embellishments to finish it off.

Thank you for stopping by!
