You are an Amazing Gymnast

My 7 year old daughter qualified for States this year and today is the big day. I always put a card in her bag for her to read when they are handing out the ribbons and medals at the end of the meet. This is the card that I made for her for today. Her gym colors are black and gold. I used bling because it is on her leotard. My digi image is from MoManning. I really love her images. The embossed stars are from a Creative Memories punch I have. I love it because you can just punch the star or punch and emboss. "You are AMAZING"  is from Technique Tuesday. One day I will learn how to take better pictures so you can see the colors better. I had sponged yellow ink around her body, but it is not showing up. Thanks for looking.

Quilted Card with Handmade Ribbon Rose

What a FUN FUN card to make! I wanted to try the Quilted technique that Splitcoast Stampers offered this week. I know my SIL will love this card for her Birthday. I handmade the rose from ribbon I had that just happened to match the DP. I really like this paper from Basic Grey. I love the colors together. I used a stamp from Papertrey ink for the flower bottoms and the sentiment is from Flourishes. The card base is Rich Razzleberry from SU. I also used the buttons that I just ordered from Papertrey ink. I hope that you like it. Any questions, just ask!

Valentine for My Hubby

I really like this stamp set from Papertrey Ink. It is their Little Bitty Bird set. I started out making these cards for my Mother and Father and my MIL. But as I was putting them together, I decided I really liked it for my husband. I also used the cloud Papertrey dies, an oval Spellbinders die, a Cuttlebug embossing folder and the sentiment is from Stampin Up!. Topped it off with a touch of glitter and Wa La!

My Son's Valentines

I am so proud of my 10 yr old son. He wanted to make his own Valentines for his class this year. He loves football and the Arizona Cardinals, so to him....it is the perfect valentine combination! We found this coloring page on the internet and I resized it for him. He colored them in and I helped by cutting out the football DP and red CS with my Nesties to resemble footballs. He would only put Valentine pencils in the cards for the teachers.....NOT for the girls. I guess this is the year they have cooties......

Isn't that sweet And Guess Who!

I really love when I see cards that use buttons in place of part of a stamp. I think it is a great 3D effect. When I made the regular size card, my one daughter asked me to make her one. So off I went to make two mini cards for my two girls. I think my girls are just as sweet as a bowl of cherries, so the cards would be very fitting for them!  The majority of the card is made with CTMH products.  The ribbon was from Stampin' Up!I hope that you like them.

**Card Challenge Entry**
This card below is for a challenge on the Random Flutters from Paper wings Blog.  Your requirement was to use a handmade embellishment on your project. I have been wanting to make a handmade ribbon flower for a while and this is the one that I came up with. I am not so sure I like the layout of the card. I feel like something is missing. I really fell in love with the material I found and knew this owl would be the right match for it. I used prisma color pencils and gamsol to color him in. I may add glitter to him at some point or something to make him sparkle somehow. Thanks for looking!

Valentine Treats

I made 50 of these valentines this weekend for my two daughters to hand out in class for Valentine's Day. They are not allowed to take in valentines that have any food in them, so when I found a template for these pencil valentines on the Pink Cat Studio website, I knew that they would be perfect! I had to alter the template a little. I really love this idea. The cat image is from Sliekje Stamps. The dog image is from Sweet and Sassy stamps. Both are digi stamps. I really love the fact that you can change the size of the digital stamps to adjust for the project that you are working on. I am going to add a little sentiment to the front. The back is stamped with "Happy Valentine's Day" and there is a little heart maze for the kids in the class to do with their new pencils!
