The Gang's all Meer Stampin up Sale-a-Bration

I absolutely love how cute this FREE Stampin' up! set from 2020 Sale-a-bration is! The Gang's all Meer is perfect for so many occasions! Love it for this Valentine's card, but plan to use it for birthdays and co-worker cards. In this post, I will show you how I added the cute little meerkat popping out of the ground to be in front of all of his friends.

I really loved using the Stampin up Stamparatus for this card to make multiple cards. It was so easy to mass produce because it has the two flaps. So to start, I cut out an oval out of a card front sized piece of junk cardstock. Then I cut out all of my white ovals to be stamped on. 

I put the card sized template on the Stamparatus to hold the place of the ovals for when I stamp them.   Next I made a mask for the little guy by stamping him on a post it note and cutting him out.

See how nicely I can keep my ovals in place for stamping with the template! 

Next I stamped the little Meerkat on the oval, covered him with the mask I made on the post it note and stamped the group of meerkats over the mask.

And Viola! He is part of the group now!!! SO CUTE! To finish off the card, I used my water brush and ink refills. I embossed the white cardstock with the Tufted Stampin' Cut & Emboss folder. I used From My Heart Specialty designer series paper and Real Red cardstock. I finished it off with sentiments from The Stampin up Heartfelt Stamp set. The hearts that I added were from the Be Mine dies. I hope you like it!
