Day three with The Rabbit Hole Designs Release featuring the Corner Mandala Stencil!!

  Hello All! Day 3 of the The Rabbit Hole Deigns Release Hop for the February 2021 Release! Today I am using the "Corner Mandala" Stencil. This stencil was the perfect for this fun "making a mess" kind of card! You can view the full February Release Here

I first die cut my background out of grey cardstock (4" x 5 1/4") and adhered it to the white card base.

Then I began to play with my stencil. I first blended Broken Glass and speckled egg distress oxides on the top corner of the stencil. Next I blended Twisted Citron and Mowed Grass on the bottom of the stencil. I squirted some water on it, waited a few seconds and dabbed it off to have the look of water droplets. Then I lined the stencil over the ink. I took my Ranger Ink Matte Texture paste and added it in select locations over the stencil. I quickly sprinkled Speckled egg embossing glaze over the blue section and rustic wilderness embossing glaze over the green section. Then I heated it with a heat gun until melted. I  LOVE the look of the textured areas!

Next I stamped the sentiment from the new release "Simple Things" on white cardstock using Lawn Fawn Narwhal Ink, cut it out, then mounted it on a slightly bigger piece of grey card stock. Finally, I mounted the sentiment piece on foam tape and added foam tape to the back of the stenciled panel. I adhered the stenciled panel to the grey panel and added the sentiment.

Best wishes Butterflies

Hello Friends! I just love the Change is Beautiful kit from Polkadot Orchard! I have made a few cards with it and find myself going back to it often. The sentiments are fantastic and I really love the butterflies! {full disclosure...I am addicted to butterflies}

So to make my card, I printed out three butterflies on Neenah Classic crest cardstock. I colored them in with Copics: W0, YR18, YR24, YR31.

Then I cut out the three butterflies I printed on Simon Says stamp Masking Paper {quick tip: When printing digital stamps on masking paper, I print it at the same time as the image to be colored. I just up the copies to two and put both masking paper and copic paper in at the same time.} This way, I am sure the images will all print the exact same size.

I fussy cut the mask butterflies, put them on the colored images and blended Broken Glass Distress ink over my Visible Image "mesh it up" stencil. I removed the masks, then I die cut my panel out using Honey Bee stamps slimline sentiments Blanket die. I added "best wishes" cut from the Honey bee die set. Popped up the panel on a white card base and finished it off with some embellishments.

I hope you found some inspiration in this card! Thank you for stopping by!

The Rabbit Hole Design February 2021 Release Day 1!!!

 Hello All! I am so super excited to be joining The Rabbit Hole Deign Team for the February 2021 Release! You can view the full release Here. Today I am using the "Simple Things" Stamp set. How cute is this handsome fellow!!??!!

I colored him with Copics, cut him out and used foam tape to adhered him to my background that I made by using the "Back alley" stencil. To make the background I blended Antique Linen over the bricks on the background. Then I selectively added texture paste, sprinkled on embossing powder from my stash and heated it for some dimension. I stamped the sentiment, matted it on cardstock from my stash and popped it up with some foam tape.

Oh Happy Day!

 Today I have a super cute birthday card using Colorado Craft Company's "Ice Cream Day Mini" stamp set. I love this little mouse illustrated by Anita Jeram. I used Echo Park "Have Faith Paper pack" along with Mojo Monday Sketch 543 for the layout of my card.

I just love this little guy. He is so adorable. I blended Tim Holtz Distress Ink Broken China for the sky and Twisted citron (mixed with Mowed lawn) for the grass. I popped the mouse up with foam tape, the circle layer is popped up as well as the pink panel that is sitting on top of the white card base.

Sympathy Poppies

 Happy New year! Today I am sharing a card using the Blessed Lives Digital kit from Polka Dot Orchard and the Dolly Doily. I love this kit because it can be used for all occasions but is especially peaceful for a sympathy card. The Sympathy sentiment is from A sprinkle of Flowers (also a great kit for Sympathy cards)!

I masked the flowers and used Antique Linen distress ink on the Dolly Doily Stencil. Then I colored in the flowers using Copics: R20, R22, and R27 for the petals and YG13 and YG17 for the leaves/stems. I added W1 and W2 around the flowers and used Y18 and BG000 for the bee.
