Fairy Whispers-March Hedgehog Hollow Box

Hi there! I am here with you to share this enchanting fairy card using the March 2021 Hedgehog Hollow Subscription Box. Blending the background for this was quick and easy resulting in a quick but cute card!

To begin, I masked off a piece of Perfect Blend cardstock with purple tape, leaving a 3" area to blend the background. The oxide inks that I used to blend were: Mustard Seed, Seedless Preserves, and Wilted Violet. After blending the inks, I rubbed it with the Wilted Violet. After blending the inks, I rubbed it with the anti static pad to reduce the extra embossing powder to stick. I stamped the fairy on the moon image with Eclipse Black reMARKable ink, then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I sprayed a little water on the top and dabbed it off with a towel to have the droplets in the ink. I originally wanted to make this a flat panel card, but I have a strange addiction to foam tape so after blending, I trimmed it down to mount on have the droplets in the ink. I originally wanted to make this a flat panel card, but I have a strange addiction to foam tape so after blending, I trimmed it down to mount on Eclipse Black cardstock. Next I attached the 4" x 5 1/4" piece of white cardstock to a 4 1/8" x 5 5/8" piece of Lavender Swirl cardstock and finally a 5 1/5" x 8 1/2" 4 1/4" piece of ultra white 110 lb. cardstock scored at 4 1/4". I stamped the sentiment on the bottom right of the white cardstock. I added foam tape to the back of the black panel and popped it up over the sentiment. I added some sequin for bling and that is it! Super easy. You can watch me in action in this quick video showing my process. Thanks for stopping by!
