Woohoo! Day two of The Rabbit Hole Designs April release! I hope you hopped around to everyone's post yesterday. So many awesome projects to see! I just love this Tropical State of Mind set! Who else wants to be in that tropical coconut? {Me Please!}
To make this card, I used the Splash Splash stencil again. This time, I mixed Glossy Texture paste with Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon Distress refill and carefully spread it through the stencil in an oval shape. once the texture paste got tacky, I repositioned the stencil and went over it again with glossy texture paste that did not have any ink to give it the look of the waves crashing. I die cut that panel and attached it to a white card base. I die cut some greenery from my stash and ink smooshed it then embossed it for the glossy look. Next, I stamped the image from the Tropical State of Mind stamp set on a piece of Neenah cardstock, colored it with Copics {listed below}, and die cut it out with the Tropical State of Mind Die. I arranged the greenery behind the image, popped it up on foam tape and attached it to the card. Finally, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock and attached it to the top left corner.
