Day three with The Rabbit Hole Designs Caffeinated Meerkat!!!

 Happy Wednesday!!!! How could you not love this grumpy meerkat that was not ready for that sunrise. Good thing he has his coffee!! Today I am sharing the new Caffeinated Meerkat stamp set and coordinating die from The Rabbit Hole Designs!!

To make the card, I loosely watercolored the background for the desert sunrise using Distress inks. I started from the bottom to the top using Walnut Stain, Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade, and Crackling Campfire. Once it dried, I cut down the panel and used an oval die from my stash to make the shaker window. Before gluing the acetate to the top panel for the shaker element, I lined it up on my brown card base so I could glue the inside oval down in the right place. Then I added the acetate and popped it up on crystal clear foam tape. I added the shaker pieces, lined up the panel and adhered it to the base. 

Next, I colored the caffeinated meerkat using Copic markers and die cut it with the coordinating Caffeinated Meerkat die. 

Meerkat: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, R30, R22 and {E49 for the nose}

Cup: BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78

 

To finish the card, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Perfectly Blended stamp set and adhered it along with the meerkat to the card. For a little bling, I glued a few of the shaker elements to the outside of the card.
