Hello! I just love Christmas in July! It is so enjoyable to make cards for the holidays when the holiday stress doesn't accompany me in my creative space. I made these cards using the new Maker Forte Gingerbread Village and Modern Christmas Sentiment stamp sets. The Tiptree Jam and Palm Tree ink pads were perfect for this project!

For my first card, I heat embossed the strip of gingerbread houses from the Gingerbread Village stamp set a few times on Kraft cardstock. Then, I stamped and colored three of the single gingerbread houses on Ultra white cardstock. Next, I fussy cut them and adhered the outer two directly to the card. I popped the middle one up on foam tape. To finish the card, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Modern Christmas Sentiments stamp set on a strip of Eclipse black cardstock. Then, I popped it up under the gingerbread houses. I rubbed white ink around the perimeter of the Kraft card panel and popped it up on a Teetree Jam card base with foam tape.
For my second card, I ink blended Tiptree Jam Color Hive ink through the first layer of the Flurry of Flowers Stencil on Kraft cardstock.
Next, I ink blended Palm Tree Color Hive ink through the second layer of the Flurry of Flowers layering Stencil.
Then, I stamped and colored a gingerbread house from the Gingerbread Village stamp set. I fussy cut it and added foam tape to the back. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of ultra white cardstock and popped it up on foam tape. Next, I cut out a strip of Tiptree Jam cardstock and rubbed white ink on the edge of the strip and stenciled panel.
Finally, I assembled the card. I added foam tape to the stenciled panel and popped it up on a Palm Tree card base. Then, I added a vellum snowflake I had in my stash and popped the gingerbread house on top of it. Next, I adhered the strip of Tiptree Jam cardstock under the gingerbread house and popped up the sentiment strip on top. Lastly, I added some clear embellishments I had in my stash and ran a Wink of Stella Pen over the snowflake, gingerbread house, and sentiment. Unfortunately, I cannot capture that shine in my picture.
Thank you for stopping by! I hope I inspired you to make some holiday cards!
