Sometimes You Just Need Pretty Paper and Some Foil! {Maker Forte}

 I had so much fun making these cards! I just LOVE the new Maker Forte  Ephemera-Sip Happens Sentiments! These sentiments are so awesome! I paired them with some pretty paper and beautiful foil! The ephemera sentiments are awesome because you can use them black and white or foil them for some pretty color! I hope you like my tutorial today. I have cut the pretty cardstock and foiled the sentiments. Below you will see in each picture, a card with the paper set up to be glued and the one to the right is the cut pieces with the measurements above it. I did not foil the sentiments in the tutorial but they are in this finished picture. I wanted you to see it both ways.

To make these cards, I used the Rosey Days Patterned Paper pack deigned by Alex Syberia Gina K. Fancy Foil in Sweet Mango, and the Sip Happens Sentiment Ephemera. I really love how the Sweet Mango Foil (above) matches with this patterned paper!

For the first card, I cut Scruncie cardstock at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Then, I cut the patterned paper at 5 1/4" x 4". I added foam tape to the patterned paper and the foiled sentiment when I adhered them to give it some dimension. Next, I adhered it to an Ultra white precut card base. (below shows the sentiments without foil so you can see them unfinished as well as the finished foiled cards above)

For my next card, I used Yellowstone cardstock that I cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I cut the stripe patterned paper at 5 1/4" x 4" and the floral paper 2" x 5 1/4". I added foam tape to the Stripe pattern paper and the sentiment when adhering it to an Ultra white precut card base

My next card has a Tiptree Jam 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card panel. I cut the floral patterned paper to 5 1/4 x 4" (this measurement is typed wrong in this picture). For this card, I only added foam tape to the sentient. Then, I adhered it to an Ultra white precut card base.

The next card has a Clear Skies cardstock panel cut at 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and an Ultra white card panel cut at 5 1/4" x 4". I cut the 3D cube paper 3 3/4" x 2 1/2" and the stripe patterned paper at 3 3/4" x 3". When I assembled this card, the two patterned papers will overlap a little. I adhered the patterned paper to the white cardstock panel and added foam tape to adhere it to the Clear Skies cardstock panel. Then, I popped the sentiment up on foam and adhered it to an Ultra white precut card base.

My last card has a Scrunchie card panel cut at 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". I cut the stripe and leaf patterned paper at 5 1/4 x 4" (that measurement is typed wrong in the picture) and the stripe patterned paper at 2" x 5 1/4". I added foam tape to the stripe paper to add it to the Scrunchie panel and added foam tape to the sentiment also. Then, I adhered it to an Ultra white precut card base.

I really just love how this bundle of cards turned out.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
