Together is my Favorite Place to Be {Brutus Monroe Picnic Pals}

 Hello crafty friends! I just love this month's subscription box from Brutus Monroe! The stamps and dies in the kit are so sweet. I made this card using the Picnic Pal Subscription Box and a couple of items I had in my stash from Brutus Monroe

 I love to try to find more ways to use my stamps other than the obvious. So for this card, I used the "cloud" stamp to make bushes. I started out by spraying Brutus Monroe Leaf Green Chroma Mist on my media mat and dabbed my piece of watercolor paper all over it. When I was happy with the coverage, I dried it with my heat gun. Next, I used my Brutus Monroe Raven ink and Misti to stamp the cloud images all over it.

I die cut the clouds {bushes} and cut a 1" x 5 1/4" piece of what was left to use for the grass. Then, on a piece of white cardstock, I blended Broken China distress oxide through the Brutus Monroe Tangled Waves Stencil that I had in my stash.  I used the stenciled panel for the sky and adhered that to a blue card base that I cut from cardstock in the kit. I attached the piece I cut for the grass to the card base and set it aside.

Next, I stamped the boy, girl, sun, and bunny from the picnic pals stamp set. I colored them in using my Copic markers and die cut them. Before I adhered the images to my card base, I put the card base in my Misti and stamped the sentiment on it using Raven ink

Then, I began assembling the card with my images. I added the sun and bushes with foam tape to pop them up and give them dimension. Finally, I added the boy and girl to the card. I just love how cute this Picnic Pal subscription kit is!

Thank you for stopping by!
