Hello and happy day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Designs May Release! Another awesome release to share with you! I have the new Hippo Botanical stamp set and Amanda Stencil here and I really love them.
To make this card, I started out blending Faded Jeans and Blueprint Sketch distress ink on a piece of watercolor paper. Then I spritzed it with water to get the droplet-water look for the background and I put that to the side to dry. Next, I blended Peeled Paint and Twisted Citron Distress ink through the Amanda Stencil. I lightly spritzed that with water also.
While both panels were drying, I stamped the hippo image and one flower image from the Hippo Botanical set on a piece of Neenah cardstock with Lawn Fawn Narwhal ink. I colored them in with copics {Listed below} and fussy cut them out. I also cut the single flower in two pieces.
I prepped the green panel to start assembling the card by die cutting the green panel to have a window for the hippo to show through and framed it. I glued the leaf panel to the blue (distress ink) panel. I added the Hippo to the center and arranged the flower halves on each side of the card. Then I stamped the sentiment from Sassy Sentiments, layered it and popped it up on foam tape. to finish the card, I added a few sequins and ran my clear Wink of Stella over the flowers for a little extra shine! I hope you like it!
