Counting Down the Days.... {Maker Forte}

Happy Friday!!! I hope everyone that celebrated Thanksgiving had a wonderful time with their family. I am not going to lie, I had way more food than a human should and it was all so scrumptious! Today, is a big sale day for so many businesses and Maker Forte is joining in with the fun with a BOGO sale on stamps! Plus, Don't miss tonight's big release!!! So many amazing and adorable products!

I love being able to incorporate stamps on a card to make it more personal to the person receiving it. Maker Forte collaborated with Angie Blom and has three stamp sets in their Cultured Collection that are perfect for people who use sign language: American Sign Language Happy, American Sign Language Alphabet, and American Sign Language Numbers. The best part is, they are all part of the BOGO sale until Friday 11:59PM! On this card, I used American Sign Language Numbers, and Spending Time with You stamp sets (which are both part of the BOGO sale!) I also used the Modern Christmas Trees stencil.

 I started out blending Limewired Color Hive ink through one layer of the Modern Christmas Tree Stencil and Palm Tree Color Hive ink through the second layer of the Modern Christmas Tree Stencil on Ultra White cardstock. 

Next, I embossed the sentiment on a piece of Mercury cardstock (which is a beautiful metallic burgundy). I added foam tape to that panel and added to the ink blended Panel. I used a star die to cut a piece of patterned paper from the Achromatic Confetti Printed Paper Pack. Then, I foiled it with Deco Transfer foil in Gold. I adhered that to the Mercury panel. Next, I stamped and colored the hands signing '25' from the American Sign Language Numbers set and glued that to the star. To finish the card, I attached the tree panel to a card base using British Racing Green cardstock and added a few Solar Flair Crown Jewel Gems. These American Sign Language sets can be used for Happy Birthday, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year too.
