Winter Wonderland and Snowflake Wishes! {The Hedgehog Hollow}

Hello! I have a couple of cards to share using the November Hedgehog Hollow subscription box. I just love that snowman stencil! 

For the Winter Wonderland card, I embossed watercolor cardstock with the “Walking in a Winter Wonderland” stamp from the kit. Then, I blended Tumbled glass Distress ink over the sentiment. Next, I blended Broken China and Chipped Sapphire Distress oxides around the sentiment. 

I spritzed it with water and dabbed it off. Then, I spread glitter gel through the snowflakes of the stencil. After it dried, I cut down the panel to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhered it to a Doctor Blue card base.

For the snowman card, I made the background using the same ink. I blended Tumbled Glass Distress ink, Broken China, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxides on watercolor cardstock. 

I spritzed it with water and dabbed it off. Then, I embossed the sentiment with White embossing powder in the upper right corner.

Next, I blended Black Soot through the snowman stencil on ultra white cardstock, blocking off parts that I didn’t want ink to get on.

I finished up the snowman using Candied Apple and Pumice Stone Distress Oxides for the hat and scarf. I used Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide for the nose. 

To finish this card, I trimmed out the snowman and popped him up on the ink blended background. Then, I added foam tape to the ink blended panel and adhered it to a Doctor Blue card base.
