Hello! I have a cute card to share using the November Hedgehog Hollow Box! I am such a sucker for snowmen. So when I saw this box, I just new I would love it!
I started out by stamping the "Let is Snow" sentiment randomly over a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of watercolor cardstock with Clear Color Hive Embossing Ink. Then, I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
To make the fun background, I mixed Salvaged Patina ink refill and Solar Flair Kaleidoscope Powder with water in a spray bottle. If you haven't tried this before, you can make some real creative sprays! I showed how to do this during Inktober Fest. If you missed it, you can see the video ->HERE<-. I sprayed the whole panel with the spray that I made and lightly heat set it so I wouldn't damage the embossed sentiments. Once it was dry, I added foam tape and adhered it to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" gold panel.
I embossed my sentiment on Ultra White cardstock using Clear Color Hive embossing ink and gold embossing powder from my stash.
Next, I fussy cut the sentiment to the size I needed. I added foam tape to that and adhered it to the embossed panel. Then, I stamped the snowman with Eclipse Black ink and once the ink was dry, I colored it in with Copics. I fussy cut him out and adhered him slightly behind the sentiment. To finish the card, I added Solar Flair Crown Jewel Gems to the card for some bling!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I will be back on Sunday with more inspiration from the November box!
Kimberly
