Sunflower Fields with Varada Sharma! {Instagram Hop and Giveaway!}

 I am so excited to be guest designing for Varada Sharma this month! Today is extra special because she is having an instagram Hop and Giveaway to share inspiration using her November 2021 New Release! So please make sure to check out my instagram post at 11am EST to leave a comment and join in with the Hop fun!

To make this card, I combined three new sets. I just love all of the new releases and how they all go together so well! I used the wood slice for the background from the "Gather Here" kit, I layered the set of three sunflowers two times from "Sunflower Fields" so I could have a bunch of 5 sunflowers. After coloring all of the images, I foiled the sentiment from "Words of Thanks" on strips of black cardstock. I finished it off with a Happy Birthday die set from MFT and some bling. I am so happy how this card turned out!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you join in in the celebration over on instagram! Copic markers used in last image!

Younger Than Tomorrow

I LOVE digital stamps.
There are so many reasons that I love them but the reason I will share today is because I could flip the image in my photo editing software which allowed me to make this spinner card. Most of the time, the image you are using is not symmetrical. So if you used a rubber stamp and inked two images as is, they would not match up on the back to make the spinner of this card. BUT... with digital stamps, you can flip one of the images before you print them so they will match up allowing you to make a spinner. I use the free version of Adobe Spark Post {Starter Plan} for my photo editing software. I do not know what the paid versions do, but the scene building or image flipping can be done in the free version.

The sentiment in this card makes me laugh. It couldn't be more true! "You're older today than yesterday but younger than tomorrow." I made this Spinner Card using the stamp sets from Polka Dot Orchard called Younger Than Tomorrow and Sunshine of Life. I love this unicorn cupcake! You could color it so many different ways. It was raining here today so I needed a little rainbow.

The Copics that I used to make this card are:

Chocolate for Cupcake: E13, E15, E18, E29
Rainbow, Rainbow Icing and Spots on wrapper: R14, YR15, Y08, YG17, B05, BV04
Unicorn Horn: Y28 and gold Wink of Stella {for glittery look}
Unicorn ears: RV00, C00, C0
Sun: YR15, Y08
Flowers: B05, BV04, Y08
