I absolutely Love the Maker Forte Color Hive Inks! To make this card, I first ink blended Maker Forte Pop Art Color Hive ink on the bottom half of Strathmore Bristol Smooth watercolor paper. Then, I ink blended a second layer of Pop Art ink through the Heffy Doodle Tiny Waves stencil. I used Purple Tape above the Pop Art ink so I could blend Fog Color Hive ink for the horizon. Then, I moved the tape to the top of the Fog ink so I could blend Yellowstone Color Hive Ink, in a circle, for the sun. To make the sky, I started at the top and blended down to the Fog ink and around the sun using Tiptree Jam Color Hive ink. I finished the sky by blending a little bit of Pop Art around the edge.  To make the splatters, I smooshed the Pop Art ink on my acrylic block and sprayed it with a little water. I used a paint brush and tipped the block so I could 'flick' the ink onto the card.

Next, I die cut Maker Forte Welch Dragon cardstock with the Sugar Pea Designs Large Striped Cover Plate. I love this cover plate die and can see so many different ways to use it! Using Eclipse Black ReMarkable ink, I stamped, and colored the super adorable images from the Heffy Doodle A Little Shellfish stamp set and You Go Gull stamp set. Then, I die cut the images using A Little Shellfish coordinating dies and You Go, Gull Dies.

Copics used:
Lobster: R22, R24, R27, R29 Crab: BG10, BG11, BG23, BG13 Hut: E31, E34, E37 Gulls: W0, W1, W3, Y11, Y21, Y15 Trunk: E34, E37, E31 Hermit Crab: E40, E31, E34, E37 Starfish: R00, R30, E34, E31 Hats and Pinwheel: R24, R27, R29, BG11, BG23, BG13

To make the sand, I die cut a small piece of tan cardstock that I had in my stash using the Sugar Pea Designs Large Striped Cover Plate only to fit the oval of the die. I trimmed off any access. Then, I used my Copic E31 and E35 to make dots over the tan cardstock to make the sand.

I began to assembled the card by gluing the die cut Welsh Dragon panel over my ink blended background. Then, I glued all of the images in place. Next, I used the Heffy Doodle Friend Heffy Cuts with Maker Forte's Telephone Box cardstock and adhered the word friend over the images on the top of the oval. To finish my card, I stamped the sentiments on Eclipse Black cardstock using Maker Forte Color Hive Clear embossing ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. I glued the sentiments in place and adhered the card top to a precut Ultra White card base.
