Love is a Four Legged Word {Brutus Monroe}

I have one last inspiration post for the Four Legged Friends Subscription Box from Brutus Monroe! This was such a fun box to create with. I used 6" x 6" patterned paper in the kit to make these regular size slimline cards.

I just love these little guys! I cut 3 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" pieces of brown cardstock included in the kit. Then, I cut the two 6"x 6" patterned papers from the kit in half to 3" x 6" pieces. I attached a 3" x 6" piece to each of the brown panels, lined up at the bottom. Then I cut the left over 3" x 6" patterned pieces into 2" x 3" pieces to add to the top to fill the brown panel.

Next, I cut 9 squares of white cardstock into 2 1/2 x 2 1/2" and blended Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink over "Rainbow" stencil

I cut three panels from navy cardstock included in the kit and attached them to the patterned paper. Then, I glued the white squares to the navy panels. I colored the puppy and kitten images that I had stamped and die cut when I first got my subscription box with Copic markers. Next I added foam tape and popped them up on the card panels. I stamped the sentiments on strips of white cardstock and attached them to the card. I used two of the conversation clippings, "Meow" and "Woof" on one of the cards. I added hearts that I die cut from dies I had received in a Brutus Monroe order that was a freebie. To finish the cards, I added the prepared panels to card bases. I don't know if I mentioned this, but I just love this box!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I will be back next Friday with a whole new subscription box! I cannot wait!

I like Big Mutts and I Cannot Lie {Brutus Monroe}

Welcome back to my Friday Brutus Monroe Inspiration post!I have a couple of cards to share using the Four Legged Friends Inspiration Box! These two cards are super quick and easy to put together using the "Four Legged Friends" Inspiration Box.

I had stamped and die cut a bunch of images when I first received my kit. So I colored in three of the dogs and a cat. Next, I I cut down this adorable patterned paper from the kit to 4" x 5 1/4". Then, I took my Brutus Monroe embossing ink and rubbed it directly over the edge of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white panels. Using the "Dalmatian" embossing powder that comes in the kit, I embossed the edges.

This is such a beautiful color embossing powder! I also wanted to use this embossing powder make a rug for the cat. So I cut out an oval using dies in my stash and embossed that with the Dalmatian embossing powder and cut the oval in half. Then, I assembled the cards.

I used foam tape behind the preprinted panels as well as the center dog. I also used foam tape behind the sentiment on the cat card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Make sure you stop back next Friday for more "Four Legged Friends" Inspiration!
