Love is a Four Legged Word {Brutus Monroe}

I have one last inspiration post for the Four Legged Friends Subscription Box from Brutus Monroe! This was such a fun box to create with. I used 6" x 6" patterned paper in the kit to make these regular size slimline cards.

I just love these little guys! I cut 3 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" pieces of brown cardstock included in the kit. Then, I cut the two 6"x 6" patterned papers from the kit in half to 3" x 6" pieces. I attached a 3" x 6" piece to each of the brown panels, lined up at the bottom. Then I cut the left over 3" x 6" patterned pieces into 2" x 3" pieces to add to the top to fill the brown panel.

Next, I cut 9 squares of white cardstock into 2 1/2 x 2 1/2" and blended Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink over "Rainbow" stencil

I cut three panels from navy cardstock included in the kit and attached them to the patterned paper. Then, I glued the white squares to the navy panels. I colored the puppy and kitten images that I had stamped and die cut when I first got my subscription box with Copic markers. Next I added foam tape and popped them up on the card panels. I stamped the sentiments on strips of white cardstock and attached them to the card. I used two of the conversation clippings, "Meow" and "Woof" on one of the cards. I added hearts that I die cut from dies I had received in a Brutus Monroe order that was a freebie. To finish the cards, I added the prepared panels to card bases. I don't know if I mentioned this, but I just love this box!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I will be back next Friday with a whole new subscription box! I cannot wait!

Oh Holy Night Blended Shaker Card {Maker Forte}

 Hello crafty friends! I would like to share with you this ink blended shaker card featuring the Maker Forte Oh Holy Night stamp set and a few Color Hive inks.

To make this shaker card, I stamped the image on a piece of acetate with Stazon ink. Then, I put it to the side to dry.

Next, I Ink blended a piece of watercolor cardstock with some of my favorite Color Hive inks. I used English MustardPop Art, and Coronation Purple inks. I really love this combination!

Then, I spritzed the panel with water and dabbed it off with a paper towel.

I cut down the panel to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and cut a circle out of the center.

I flicked some watered down gold paint on the ink blended panel.

Next, I attached the center circle to a piece of gold cardstock using the ink blended panel to line it up. I added some sequins to the center and glued a few on. I attached the acetate to the ink blended panel and added Solar Flair Crown Jewel Gems

To finish the card, I used foam tape to pop up the ink blended panel and attached the panel to a white card base. Have I mentioned that I just LOVE these colors blended together?!?

Thank you so much for stopping by!
