Harvest Blessings {Brutus Monroe}

Welcome! I am so excited that it is Friday! I just love sharing with you the projects that I make using the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Box so make sure you check back every Friday for something new! This is my second project using the Autumn Harvest Inspiration box for October. This is such a quick card to make. The only thing that took a little bit of time was coloring in the images. 

As I have mentioned, I always stamp out a bunch of images with my Misti when I first receive my kit. Then die cut them so I have them ready to go when I sit down to create. The awesome thing about this and the last inspiration box is, Brutus Monroe added 6x6 patterned paper in the box! So to begin this card, I cut down a pice of patterned paper to 5 1/2" x 4" and a brown card panel cut to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". I adhered the brown panel to a white card base that was included in the kit. Then I added foam tape to the back of the patterned paper and added it to the brown panel. 

Next, I colored in the images with my Copics. I used a multiliner to add a little design to the scarecrow's vest. Adding dots, stripes, or plaid to parts of the clothing is a fun way to put your own little touch on the image.

Once I had all of the images colored in, I adhered them to the card base. I used foam tape behind the pumpkins and the pumpkin sign. To finish the card, I added a sentiment from the conversation clippings, also in the kit.

Birthday Unicorn {Brutus Monroe}

 Hello! I have a super easy full front shaker card for you today using Brutus Monroe's Unique Unicorn Inspiration box. 

To make this card, I stamped images from the Unique Unicorn stamp set around a white piece of cardstock. Then I stamped the rainbow image and die cut it with the matching dies in the kit. 

I colored the rainbow and glued it to the white card panel. Then, I slid the white stamped panel into a self seal clear bag that measures 5 7/16" x 7 1/4" and added the sequins from the kit. (this kind of card is a great way to use up sequins if you have a lot in your stash)

I sealed the bag on the back and added two sided tape over the back to adhere the shaker to a piece of printed paper that was included in the box. I cut the printed paper to 5 5/8" x 4 3/8" so I could have a border around the shaker card. Next time I am going to use a smaller seal bag when I want to make a regular A2 card AND have a border around it. These seal bags are perfect if you aren't going to have a border. 

To finish the card, I added a sentiment from the conversation clippings that are included in the box and attached it to a card base. Super easy!

Hello! Mini Slimline {The Rabbit Hole Designs}

 Hello! I am just LOVING these new releases from The Rabbit Hole Designs! I have a really easy mini slimline card to share using the Hello Die and matching Hello Stamp set. 

To start this card, I cut a yellow piece of cardstock that I had I my stash to 6 1/2" x 3 1/2". I stamped the sun image from the Hello stamp set all over the yellow cardstock in Versamark ink. The nice thing about embossing ink is that it leaves a slightly darker image than the cardstock you stamp it on as long as it is not a coated cardstock. Next, I stamped the word "Sunshine" all over a couple of extra pieces of the yellow cardstock using Apricot Pinkfresh Studio ink. 

I lined up the "Hello" die in the "Hello" shadow die and used washing tape to keep them lined up. I die cut the word hello out of both pieces of yellow cardstock that I stamped the word sunshine all over. Then, I separated the dies and die cut three "Hello" shadows out of white cardstock. I adhered the two Hello die cuts to the white Hello shadows. I adhered the yellow Hello outline that was die cut to the last white shadow die cut. I adhered them to the yellow card panel. I added foam tape tot the middle one for dimension. To finish the card, I added the yellow card panel to a white card base that measured 7 1/2" x 6  3/4"  and scored at 3 3/4". The finished card will measure 6 3/4" 3 3/4".

Hello Fall with a Stenciled Background {The Hedgehog Hollow}

 Hello crafty friends! I would like to share with you how I made this card using The Hedgehog Hollow subscription box for this month. One of my favorite things in this box is the layering stencils. I love how easy they are to use. 

To make this card, I started out by blending Yellowstone Color Hive ink and Antique Linen distress oxide ink through the first layer. Then, Frayed Burlap distress oxide and Outrageous Color Hive ink through the second layer. Finally, I used Palm Tree Color Hive ink with the last stencil. 

To finish the panel, I blended Antique Linen distress oxide ink around the perimeter of the card panel and added splatters.

To make the splatters on the card panel, I inked up and acrylic block and spritzed it with a little water. Then, I mixed the ink and water together with a small paint brush. Using the paint brush against my acrylic block, I flicked the paint onto the panel. I repeated this process using Antique Linen distress oxide. 

Next, I stamped the coffee image from the kit on Ultra White cardstock two times using Eclipse Black Ink and fussy cut them out. I colored them with Copic Markers and adhered them to the card. The second cup of coffee was popped up with foam tape for little dimension. I used a sentiment from the Jess Francisco All Seasons paper pack. Then, added Solar Flair Crown Jewel Gems with my Rainbow Gem Pick. 

To finish the card, I added foam tape and adhered it to a brown card base I had in my stash.
